Post it back to our lab with the free return postage included.

This test will determine your blood group and is called ABO typing. There are 4 main blood groups (types of blood) – A, B, AB and O. Your blood group is determined by the genes you inherit from your parents and based on which proteins are on the surface of your red blood cells.
Each group can be either RhD positive (+) or RhD negative (-), which means in total there are 8 blood groups. Blood group O is the most common blood group. Almost half of the UK population (48%) has blood group O.
